"When people ask me, which they do often, where I get my hair cut I’m so happy to give them Pompadours' name. With other salons I’ve gone to, I’ve always hesitated to give the information, knowing that only one or two of the stylists are really good and the rest may be not-so-good. But I’ve gone to Pompadours for years now and I’ve watched how the interns get trained and I know that they don’t graduate into being a stylist until they pass rigorous testing. They have standards that other salons—even pretty good ones—don’t, and they never compromise. It’s obvious when you look at the cuts and color that walk out the door. They’re great.
This is a quality place. The owners are always there, hands-on. It has a professional feel, without being stiff or too formal. I like that. My cuts are exceptionally precise, every time. To me, that’s all I care about: consistent exceptional quality. I don’t want my hair to look like everyone else’s. And it doesn't. Lisa is a fine artist. She’s spoiled me—I just don’t have bad hair days anymore. I'm beyond loyal to her work. I'm addicted to it. The idea of letting someone else cut my hair now just feels, well, out of the question. Until she retires, Im hers."
